DR. JOHN WATSON EARNS SPORTS MEDICINE BOARD CERTIFICATION
Springfield, IL – John O. Watson, M.D., a physician at the Orthopedic Center of Illinois (OCI), has recently become board certified in Sports Medicine. Dr. Watson is a board certified physiatrist through the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (ABPM&R) and is also board certified in Electrodiagnostic Medicine through the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine (ABEM). He is one of three physicians in the state of Illinois who has attained all three of these certifications.
Dr. Watson graduated from SIU School of Medicine and has been with OCI since 2007. He specializes in the evaluation and treatment of spine, sports, and occupational injuries.
